He started ninth in the 30-lap Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour event. “The car wasn’t any good early on in the night and Travis and the guys they went to work on this thing and wow was it good for the feature,” stated Altobelli. “I have to give those guys a lot of credit. Plus you run against this kind of competition, it is as talented as most Late Model fields anymore. I’ve won some super stuff but I think this is probably a career win for us,” concluded Altobelli.

lee5000jan26Lucas Lee of Paris, Tenn., earned his first career Winternationals victory Saturday night at East Bay Raceway Park. Lee started seventh in the 75-lap main event, but it didn't take him long to advance toward the front as he caught the leader by lap 20. Taking the lead on lap 40, Lee stretched out his advantage and held on to grab the $5,000 win. “We just rode it out for the first half,” said Lee in victory lane. “We had a good car now that we finally figured it out and I listened to what the crew guys were saying.
